OUR SATELLITE SERVICE

WHAT WE DO

We use our Starchaser Space Station as a base of operations for all our services.

Our main service that we provide is the clearing of space debris from your LEO of 500 km - 1000km to save you money by keeping your satellites safe from dangerous collisions. Our service also provides emergency orbit adjustments to your satellites if they do not have the fuel required to manoeuvre from dangerous space debris.

How do we do it?

We were able to launch our 'mothership' satellite the Starchaser Space Station with a range of capabilities that allow us to provide you with the best service, some notable parts are our modified version of the International Berthing and Docking Mechanism with a longer life span which allows us to receive supply runs from our reusable supply rocket the Nova 10 which keeps us refuelled and supplied for any mission, a core satellite similar to that of the ISS with top of the range solar panels and living quarters for operators working within the Starchaser Space Station. But what really sets us apart is our multiple miniature docking systems that support our equivalent of 1U-6U CubeSats (small satellites) with a 1cm positioning accuracy system.

Our 'fleet' of small satellites/drones are able to be outfitted for nearly any purpose however i will be showing the configurations we use to clear Space debris.

Clean space operates on the largest pieces of space debris as they present the biggest threat to you as they are the ones that will not only cost your company valuable fuel to dodge if they are on a trajectory which comes within your satellites "pizza box" safety zone but if they impact with another piece of space debris it may fracture and introduce 1000s of much smaller dangerous debris.

Here are a few of the methods that we use
snagging and capturing

By outfitting our small satellites/drones with "capturing mechanisms" such as nets, harpoons, robotic arms and tentacles, we would are able to change the velocity of space debris slowing it down enough to de orbit the debris where it will then burn up upon re entry into the atmosphere all the while our drones are safe to move onto the next piece of debris. Allowing for safe re usable space debris removal.

By outfitting our small satellites/drones with electromagnetic field/net like abilities using our small "fleet" we are able to clear space of massive amounts of debris. Some stats predict that we may be able to clear LEO within a dozen years given the right funding.

Electromagnetic tethering

By outfitting our small satellites/drones with an electrodynamic tether which we are then able to tether to the piece of debris we are trying to de orbit. We then send a current through the tether to slow down the debris.
